MVPX 1460  Contributor's Pick!
MVPX SW14 No. 1460 sits in an industrial track in Burlington, IA. Can anyone shed some light on this unit's history?

Franklin Campbell General This is the former IC 1460. IIRC it was rebuilt from an SW7. It was bought by Omnitrix in the mid 90's initially being stored on the now inactive but intact Manufacturers Junction Railway. It spent many years on sister Omnitrix line Chicago Rail Link as CRL 1460. It could be seen on the Burr Oak transfer job, Irondale job, and even did a stint switching UP's Canal St. Ramp. It was the last switcher on the CRL roster before going to MVPX last year. 8/15/2016 9:14:56 PM
